Getting prettier with each passing year Each year we add more indigenous plants We plant tons of annuals each year to enhance the beauty of our perennials After a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend, we received some showers. Right before some special friends took this amazing shot! Lake and mountain views set the ambiance for the Lodge's elegant dining. Adjacent to the fireplace, quarry stone columns and knotty pine ceilings echo the mountain detail found throughout the Lodge. The front porch warmly greets with Adirondack and rocking chairs overlooking Lake Santeetlah. The Snowbird Mountains are to the west for spectacular sunsets. Each sunset is a little different. 2800 Acres of untouched beauty. Considered one of the largest in Western North Carolina, this massive quarry stoned feature extends from floor to cathedral ceiling with hearths of both levels of the Lodge. The staff tends constant fires when temperatures permit. Find your chair for the next sunset. A panoramic shot can barely grasp Lake Santeetlah's majesty. From the second level, the curved oak and wrought iron staircase cascades to the main lodge, where gaming enthusiasts are encouraged to try their hand at pool, darts, backgammon, jigsaw puzzles and much more. The library, stocked with books of local interest and bestsellers offers guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy quiet time on the porches or the leather couches by the fire. Perfect Spot for Two We strive to find the best, organic and locally grown produce to be served to our guests.
