Considered one of the largest in Western North Carolina, this massive quarry stoned feature extends from floor to cathedral ceiling with hearths of both levels of the Lodge. The staff tends constant fires when temperatures permit.

From the second level, the curved oak and wrought iron staircase cascades to the main lodge, where gaming enthusiasts are encouraged to try their hand at pool, darts, backgammon, jigsaw puzzles and much more. The library, stocked with books of local interest and bestsellers offers guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy quiet time on the porches or the leather couches by the fire.
